Description
Tall red serif capitals spell “Separate Checks,” their cream edging held inside heavy black outlines. The phrase gives the scene its opening line, while the Premium Wooden Framed Poster keeps the illustration’s restaurant-bill joke intact. A cream receipt and red calculator meet as characters, each with half-lidded eyes, curved black limbs, cream gloves and rounded red shoes.
The receipt’s top edge curls over before its long body reaches the floor, marked by short black dashes. Across from it, calculator and receipt each hold a small rectangle, as though the calculation has become a private exchange. Two cups on saucers share a red circular pedestal table, with pale steam rising in curls.
“Seoul 02” appears inside a red circular badge, while “Same Table. Different Math.” closes the composition in cream serif type between short red marks. Black-and-cream checks hold the ground beneath the scene. Speckled distressing breaks through every fill, and open white gaps leave the two figures distinctly apart.
