Design story & product details
The huge open mouth drives the composition: red lips frame off-white upper teeth, a black interior, and a long red tongue split by a black crease. White highlights catch the lip edges, while black hatching gives the tongue and lower lip a scraped, hand-worked finish.
“Loud” is assembled from oversized mismatched letters on orange, off-white, red, and pale blue rectangles. The black O and D carry orange edging, while the U has a white edge. “Bold” runs vertically in heavy black letters on yellow, and “And” appears in narrow black capitals on pale blue.
“Free” crosses uneven pink, black, off-white, and magenta blocks, with an orange R traced in white and a yellow E carrying a black shadow. A red-yellow-green traffic light presses in from the left as a grey surveillance camera overlaps the opposite side. Yellow lightning, ink splashes, and halftone dots close the remaining gaps without smoothing out the collage.
On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, the words read “Loud Bold And Free,” with the mouth’s tongue crease and the camera’s overlap giving the graphic its most confrontational details.
