Design story & product details
A pair of enormous black condensed headline lines establishes the poster’s largest shape, pressed close together with a slight overlap. Their even, heavy strokes are broken by cracks, scratches, and fine white speckling, giving the lettering a weathered surface without softening its rigid structure. A tall black panel at the right contains two cream Korean characters; the Korean words mean turtle ship. Muted teal-grey blocks emerge behind the type with halftone dots, while black splatter marks interrupt their clean rectangular edges.
The lower field follows the lettering with a detailed ironclad turtle ship in dark bronze and brown wood grain. Black conical spikes run in rows over its curved roof, and the dragon figurehead at upper left shows open jaws, horns, and teeth. A black mast flag bears a gold circular emblem, while angled oars cut down into dark water broken by white splashes. The bottom black strip brings in archive and sea-defense wording, divided by a slash and punctuated with small crosshair and circle marks. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the image retains the deliberate proportions of a complete poster composition.
