Design story & product details
The ink treatment gives the graphic a weathered, poster-like break across the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt: black letterforms carry fine cracks, scratches, and white speckling without losing their dense, condensed weight. Two stacked lines press tightly together, with a slight overlap that makes the lettering read as one block. At the right, a cream-on-black vertical panel contains Korean characters; they mean “turtle ship,” the English name for the vessel shown below.
- Muted teal-grey rectangular fields bring halftone dots and irregular black splatter marks behind the headline, keeping the ground deliberately uneven.
- The ironclad ship is rendered with a dark bronze-brown wood-grain hull, a curved roof lined in black conical spikes, and a dragon figurehead with open jaws, horns, and teeth.
- Angled oars cut toward dark water broken by white splashes, while the mast carries a black flag marked by a gold circular emblem.
