Design story & product details

Everything here is cream against sepia brown, like an old engraving, and that two-tone look makes a pair of heavy iron gates feel grand. Then you notice the gates are swung wide open, and the tall Victorian letters spelling No Velvet Ropes run straight through the gap.

The joke is easy to get: all that fancy ironwork, and everyone’s invited anyway. My favorite detail is the long swash on the S, which curls through the bars. It’s a tee for the friend who throws the party and makes sure nobody waits outside.
