Design story & product details

The tail of the S swings out and loops right through the iron bars, as if the lettering walked in without asking. That is the whole idea. A pair of ornate Victorian gates stands wide open, and No Velvet Ropes reads across the gap in tall cream serifs, with engraved sepia shading on the metal.

On a long-sleeve tee, it looks like an old hotel sign with a friendlier policy: no guest list and no bouncer. It makes a good housewarming gift for the friend whose door is always open.
