Design story & product details

The tiny diamond cut-outs inside each cream letter are what sold me, along with the way the N and S curl their swashes through the iron bars. No Velvet Ropes is stacked across a pair of ornate gates that have swung wide open, drawn in sepia engraving like an old grand hotel sign.

The joke flips the exclusive club: the fancy gate is open and nobody checks a list. It suits the friend whose house parties always welcome everyone.
