Design story & product details
The larger pink hibiscus flower extends right and downward, overlapping a smaller bloom that recedes at the upper left. Broad petals ripple softly, with pale salmon-pink edges tracing fine radiating veins and scattered dark red speckles. Each deep burgundy centre spreads into pointed magenta streaks, while yellow-tipped stamens cluster around pale central stalks. Very faint grey rays disperse behind the flowers into open space. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the flower grouping leaves a small open gap before the word Hibiscus.
Hibiscus appears in heavy, angular blackletter, tightly packed with pointed terminals, curled strokes and small diamond details over the letters. White and grey interior faces meet thick black edges and offset shadows for a bevelled effect. The surrounding text identifies Mugunghwa as the Korean national flower; Mugunghwa is a Korean word meaning hibiscus, also known as the rose of Sharon. Its repeated name leads into a short verse about strong petals, storms, hope and a flower that remains tall through hardship.
