Design story & product details
A circular observatory emblem unfolds against a gray ground, enclosed by fine gold rings, dotted marks, and two compass devices. The arched cream serif title, outlined dark and gently warped with the curve, gives the field its broad upper frame; the crewneck T-shirt carries the full composition as a single, tightly bordered graphic.
A dark blue-gray radio telescope dish rises on a lattice tower, angled into the open navy sky. Green and violet aurora bands sweep behind its crosshatched structure, while two connected-dot constellations appear among scattered white stars. “Northern Signal Club” runs in teal between delicate gold dotted rules.
Crowded snow-capped mountains and dark pines form a low, compressed horizon, leaving an unusually broad span of sky around the dish. The small “Deep Sky Station” inscription on the right has its own fine underline, a restrained detail that echoes the technical linework elsewhere.
Green coordinates, 64° N and 147° W, fill the two dark circular side badges. The lower banner reads “Explore the Stars” in cream serif lettering, followed by the teal “Polar Frequency 1986,” with a gold compass rose centered beneath the mountain edge.
