Design story & product details
Muted grey and tan meet dark charcoal-blue in Resonance of Arirang, a circular vintage badge whose cracked, weathered surface carries through every illustrated line. The Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt frames two gayageum crossing through the middle, with parallel strings and small bridge details remaining visible where the instruments overlap. Vine-like tendrils thread between small blossoms and flower clusters, while hand-drawn music staffs run across curved paper scrolls at the upper left and right.
The lettering is built into the badge’s structure: Free Spirit follows the cream top band in dark-outlined serif capitals, with The Resonance of Arirang and The Soul Rebellion of forming a dense sequence through the upper field. Arirang refers to the Korean folk-song tradition named in the artwork. The Soul of Korea appears in a firm lower block, and a tattered ribbon carries Korea Classics between two small folding-fan icons. Ornate scrollwork, circular Korean knot motifs, and a yin-yang symbol fill the remaining edge spaces without smoothing over the worn, distressed finish.
