Design story & product details
Teal against cream gives the design its broad, poster-like field: a large circle carries cream concentric rings behind a guitarist, while a low teal oval grounds his shoes. Red lettering, bolts and starbursts cut sharply through that cooler backdrop.
The wide-legged player has swept black hair picked with tan, a red scarf at the neck, and blue-grey folds running through his black jacket and trousers. The red guitar’s cream edge and pickguard are interrupted by black curved sound holes; its dark neck rises toward the right.
On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, the artwork gives the black high-tops cream laces, toe caps and soles that echo the circle’s rings. A black cable makes a loose loop into the open lower-left space, an easily missed line that keeps the guitarist connected to the composition.
The lettering moves from Rock and Night to Away! in heavy, condensed, slanted red capitals, with cream outlines and black shadows offset behind them. The smaller word the flows in red script. Pointed red, cream and dark starbursts fill the spaces around the figure, joined by red lightning bolts.
