Large cream capitals with shadowed, chipped edges spell out the title as if carved from stone, intersected by a seated figure caught from behind, curls and drapery rendered through stippling and highlight. Dense ornamentation and sculptural fragments frame every line: fluted columns, curling scrolls, and broken stone pieces fill the design’s negative spaces. A clipped-corner plaque marked “REVISED IN MEMORY,” bordered in cream and decorated with small diamonds, anchors the composition, while the lowest band features black serif capitals reading “SAME PAGES, DIFFERENT EYES.”
