Design story & product details
A huge, rough-edged canopy dominates the artwork, built from overlapping charcoal, dark olive-grey, and lighter grey patches. Its almost circular mass is broken by scraped marks and stippled edges, with a few flecks drifting beyond the boundary.
Below it, the tall near-black tree has a narrow trunk that widens slightly where it meets the ground. Fine bare branches split at angular intervals and remain visible through the canopy’s lower area, an important linework detail within the dense layered surface.
On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, a small black figure stands to the left of the trunk, facing right with its head lowered. The long, straight garment shape ends in two slim legs, making the human scale deliberately slight beside the tree.
Thin uneven ground strokes run left from beneath the pair, while short detached dashes gather around the base. The high canopy leaves broad unmarked space around the lower trunk and figure. Their broken direction gives the ground a loose, unfinished edge without forming a solid horizon or enclosing the open lower field.
