Design story & product details
Muted green-grey shading meets white highlights in a dense sailor illustration, where dark green linework gives the image its carved, inked character. A bearded figure wears a rounded cap and an open-neck zip-front top, its pale horizontal stripes broken by deep folds. Crossed forearms carry tattoo marks, while a pipe extends to the right and sends a thin curl of smoke over the shoulder. The artwork appears on a Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt with the figure held within a close, ornamental frame.
Braided ropes and pointed leaves, each marked with veins, press into an oval around him, yet narrow white openings keep the upper body distinct from the foliage. A curled ribbon threads behind the head: “A SMOOTH SEA” runs along its left sweep and “NEVER MADE” follows on the right. Below, a wider ribbon carries “MADE A SKILLED SAILOR” in larger dark green capitals.
