Faint distressed marks scatter across the cream lettering, as if the sign has weathered dozens of cycles beneath the bent pipe and metal lamp that dip down over the wordmark. A torn teal strip slices a boundary between the main message and the stacked visuals below, setting off the sense of a place in use.
Within the print, the way the pipes bend and shadow the letters is easily missed at first, but refines the tension between industrial hardware and the cosier interior behind the glass.
