Design story & product details
A tapered navy underline narrows into a pointed star, giving the lower edge a sharp final mark. The Future Orbit brings that same controlled linework into the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt: three tightly stacked serif rows spell The Future in oversized navy forms, their thick upright strokes interrupted by worn cream scuffs. Narrow cream outlines follow the pointed, flared serifs, while a cratered cream-and-navy sphere emerges from behind the middle row and reaches out on the right.
Fine orbital loops thread through the letterforms and around the sphere, with outlined long-pointed stars catching along their paths. A small grouping of cream stars gathers over the sphere’s lower-right surface, an easily missed counterpoint to the larger stars. Diagonal navy brush streaks and stray dots break beyond the type, while white openings stay clear in the counters and around the outer edge. The tilted serif line below reads, “The fault and incoherence of a scheme can be reviewed through the animation mode.”
- The word Future is divided between the second and third rows.
- Cream distressing appears inside the navy letter fills.
- The final underline tapers toward its star tip.
