Design story & product details
Four oversized rows form a single compressed block, their heavy angular capitals pressing nearly edge to edge as though the four lines have been locked into one tall sign. The Long Way Counts appears on a Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt as blue The, red-orange Long, yellow Way, and off-white Counts, with black depth pushing each row forward.
Thin black contours trace the letter faces before a heavier outline takes over, while offset black sides show along clipped corners and edges. In Long, the O is not round: its tall rectangular opening is narrowed and cut with angled corners.
White ribbons curve through the stack, alternately disappearing behind letters and crossing in front of them. Their central bands repeat blue, red-orange, yellow, and blue; at either end, the strips turn back into curled loops backed in black.
Small black scratches and pale worn patches break the clean color fields without obscuring the words. White stays visible inside the openings and in tiny triangular gaps between the broad forms, where crowded shadows make the spacing feel even tighter.
