Design story & product details
A grayscale rose forms the dominant mass in Thorny Rose Stem, its tightly curled centre pressed into wider petals that break at uneven, pointed edges. Fine black shading gathers in each fold, while pale lines catch the rolled rims and make the blossom read as densely worked without adding colour. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the drawing retains the contrast between that packed flower and the open area around its descending stem. Narrow sepals curl under the bloom before the stem begins its slight bend toward a sharp finish.
- Seven serrated leaves divide along the stem: three branch left and four right, each marked by a pale midrib and close, curved veins.
- Small triangular thorns emerge from both sides of the black stem, giving its otherwise spare line a deliberately severe rhythm.
- Burgundy cursive reading Stonners Jeans rises beside the right side in slender outlined lettering, with shaded passages and oversized looping turns.
The lettering is in English and functions as a visual counterline to the botanical drawing, not a description of the rose. Its loops pass through the empty space between leaves, while the reserved lower field lets the pointed stem carry the composition to its finish.
