Design story & product details
A hot-air balloon dominates the composition, its curved vertical panels moving between golden yellow, cream, and black. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, fine suspension lines narrow to a small basket worked with crosshatched marks.
Behind the balloon, a yellow sun disc breaks through cream clouds, with narrow rays and grey stippling giving the sky an etched texture. Black skyscrapers, each marked by tiny yellow windows, frame a suspension bridge and water drawn in close horizontal streaks. The bridge cables are fine but distinctly drawn.
Large serif Hope lettering gathers the lower field in cream-to-gold, edged with fine gold and thrown into heavy black offset shadow. Long curls run through the letterforms and beyond their edges. A curved black ribbon carries the smaller words “Through” and “Rise Above, Fly Free,” with dots separating the phrases.
Cloud forms overlap both the skyline and lettering, interrupting their clean boundaries. The open outer corners leave the dense illustration room to resolve without adding a frame or extra wording. Their soft edges also cover parts of the swashes, so the decorative lines appear to pass behind the weather as well as the city.
