"Tidal Hours" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

An open gray field separates the ripples from the lettering, a deliberate blank middle that is central to Tidal Hours. On the embroidered Classic Dad Hat, this pause divides the dense upper mark from the broad sweep below, leaving no extra symbols or words to bridge the two.

The upper half gathers around a gray water droplet placed at the center. It is framed by two flattened elliptical ripple rings: a gray inner oval and a solid blue outer ring. Their repeated curves read as a contained splash, with the blue perimeter carrying the clearer edge against the gray ground.

Tidal is the only wording, rendered in bold blue serif capitals on a downward-curving arc. The baseline reaches its lowest point beneath the middle letters before lifting toward either end, and the letter sizes adjust subtly along that route. Serifs are especially clear at the terminals of the T, I, D, A and L.

Gray is used for background, droplet and inner ring; one even medium blue carries both outer ring and lettering. The ring cluster remains concentrated high on the panel, while the widely spaced word fills the lower portion without closing the empty interval.
