Design story & product details
A thin red-orange edge around each teal star is easy to miss against the flat grey field. The two stars hold the open space on either side of the figures, while green palm fronds rise into the soft yellow circle behind them.
The artwork on this Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt builds around a comic-style pair: a sharp-faced man with spiky black hair wears an open pale jacket, pink shirt and red belt buckle, with a woman behind him in round dark sunglasses, wavy brown hair and a blue-and-tan jacket, chin resting on her hand.
Cracked tan and beige block lettering forms an upward arch at the top, its heavy black contour emphasizing the worn treatment. Under the title are two compact white lines, and the diagonal red-orange script, filled white and shadowed in black, joins its two words across the lower part of the figures.
Urban Style Freedom takes its wording from the design’s freedom message, completed by three small white lines along the bottom about living genuinely and outside social pressures. Hong DoAE appears as a Korean proper name, so it has no ordinary English phrase meaning.
