Design story & product details
Bad Machine begins with tall condensed serif lettering, pale yellow-green inside a thin red inner outline and a heavier black edge. The words follow an uneven arch across a black ribbon, giving the title a slightly sprung line. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, that banner cuts across an illustrated android in pale yellow-green, its red visor slits held within dense black hatching.
A circular eye or gear detail on the side of the head contains a red star-burst, while tubes and cables feed into a blue-teal armored torso. Its rectangular panels are picked out with small rivets. Behind the figure, a gold ring is crossed with radiating spikes and crowned by a burst, with matching fern-like laurel fronds extending into both upper corners. Small red five-point stars break up the space around the ring.
The lower marks continue the emblematic construction: No Signal appears in gold serif capitals on a narrow black banner, flanked by red stars. A compass-like star with a red center follows beneath it, leading into the red After Midnight ribbon. Gold crosshair targets at the outer midpoints and the flat gray field leave the layered linework, red accents, and gold framing sharply defined.
