Design story & product details
An irregular black block forms the largest field, carrying two stacked lines of “BUILT DIFFERENT” in tall, heavy white capitals. The words climb gently to the right through scattered dark distress marks, while a yellow underline breaks free into long drips. Yellow crown-like strokes punctuate the black field and return on the illustrated figure’s sleeve, a small repeated detail that links the lettering to the portrait. Built Different brings the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt into a composition led by the artwork’s only words.
The seated figure has swept, spiky black-and-grey hair, pink lips, layered chains, a red shirt and an oversized dark green jacket broken up with white, yellow and red panels. Bent bare legs overlap through the lower part of the drawing, marked with green angular strokes and red paint spots. Striped socks lead into chunky lace-up high-tops with geometric colour panels and thick white soles. Green brush swipes, yellow patches, red loops, dots and drips build a crowded field behind the figure, while the outer corners remain notably open.
