Design story & product details
A small run of pale veins through the dark leaves gives Coffee 1927 its most easily missed linework. A moustached man in a tall black top hat holds a cream cup beside his face, while tan steam curls upward in a loose, narrow trail. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the illustration builds around his dark suit, whose fine cream pinstripes, small buttons, gold-brown tie, and dangling watch chain keep the figure sharply dressed without flattening the detail.
- Large cream serif lettering climbs diagonally over the torso, with an oversized C dropping below the remaining letters.
- Black shadows and thin gold outlines give the word layered edges, extended by long cream-and-gold flourishes at either side.
- Dark pointed leaves gather with brown round berries and cream star-shaped flowers, while three individual coffee beans break away from the cluster.
Gold numerals mark 1927 between narrow ornamental strokes below the figure. Pale open spaces divide the top hat, a floating bean, and the leafy branch, preventing the dense botanical work from closing into one mass. The wording reads Coffee 1927. The numerals remain distinct from the lettering.
