Design story & product details
Black, white and grey pull the artwork into a dense arrangement of lettering and linework. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, oversized angular “RIDE” and “WAVE” form the main structure, while the smaller connected cursive “the” crosses between them. Pale outlines, dark offset edges and broad grey shadows build depth around the capitals, with scattered dots and downward drips breaking the surrounding space.
- A drawn person faces away with their head turned left, one tattooed arm raised into the upper lettering and the other lowered at their side.
- The pale shirt overlaps the words, while cuffed grey trousers stop above light shoes planted on the motorcycle seat.
- Two dark spoked wheels, perforated brake discs, mirrors, an exposed engine and a lowered stand give the left-facing motorcycle its mechanical detail.
Open white areas keep much of the motorcycle separate from the crowded lettering. A double curved flourish reaches out to the right, extending the motion beyond the stacked words.
