Design story & product details
Bold, condensed hand-drawn capitals form the first voice of Do Not Be Afraid, their slight wobble keeping the black lines human and direct. Dashes bracket the arched words “DO NOT BE AFRAID,” while “SINCE” and “2024” run vertically at either side. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the lower message breaks into two lines: “KEEP BELIEVING AND FACE IT,” built from thick block letters whose baseline deliberately shifts.
The lettering frames a paw-print/flame silhouette with a jagged pointed upper edge and rounded base. Inside, a gray tabby cat lounges on a gray armchair beside a mustard-yellow pillow. A tall wooden bookshelf behind the chair is packed with orange, gray, cream, and green books, with green vines draped between the shelves. To the left, a small wooden side table holds both a potted plant and a tiny figurine.
Black outlines hold the scene and its lettering together against a solid flat gray field. Empty space remains around the central shape, keeping the illustrated room contained within its unusual border.
