"Doubles Court" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

“Doubles” is drawn in oversized varsity capitals whose baseline rises with a broad navy ribbon. Angular corners and slab serifs give each white letter a firm block, while fine navy inset outlines and narrow white edge lines keep the forms separated from the banner.

The ribbon is not a flat strip: white inset borders trace its arc before breaking into pointed, notched tails at either side. Two rackets cross through the handles behind the word, their tilted oval heads left open in white with diagonal navy string grids. Short white cuts across the navy grips are an easily missed finish.

A green tennis ball, ringed in navy and crossed by a curved white seam, is held between the racket heads. Green leafy branches climb up both sides, outlined in navy and pressed close to the rackets and ribbon at their meeting point. On the Classic Dad Hat, embroidery gives those small outlines and seams a clear, bounded role within the compact tennis emblem.

Nothing extends into the open field beneath the arch. That empty lower portion lets the crossed handles, ball, leaves, and lettering remain the complete arrangement, with “Doubles” as the only wording.
