Design story & product details
A huge rust-red 86 drives the composition, its angular forms packed inside a thin ochre rounded border. Thick pale-khaki outlines sharpen each digit while white counters cut through the red, and tiny worn-looking speckles break the otherwise solid fill. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the number reads as the ground for the diagonal Original script, whose white-edged loops cross both figures and carry a long underline beyond the border on the right.
Arched pale-khaki serif capitals, Heritage Goods Co., make the upper frame, answered by Specialty Crafted below with white space held between those curves and the denser interior. Union Made is lettered in narrow capitals over the numerals; Quality 1986 runs beneath it with small pointed marks on either side. Olive bands with short rounded teeth bracket the design, and a cluster of small khaki wedges fills the upper inner gap. The interrupted border is a precise detail: it yields wherever the rising script cuts through it.
