Design story & product details
Open gaps around the irregular perimeter leave the collage breathing, even where torn paper rectangles crowd into four uneven tiers. The design, Live & Let Live, brings those scraps together on a Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt with a cut-and-paste arrangement that retains creases, scratches, beige tape and tiny fragments of old print.
The first tier breaks “Live” across red, cream and black pieces: a black L carries a narrow cream edge against red, while its i, v and e reverse their grounds in small shifts. At the left, a cream ampersand spreads through a ragged dark blue field.
“AND” is rendered in small uppercase letters across separate green, blue and cream blocks, making the conjunction feel deliberately divided. The lettering is in English and reads “Live & AND Let Live,” retaining both the ampersand and the written AND. A black five-pointed star lands on the cream scrap at the right, a clean mark amid the torn edges.
Below, “Let” changes colour from a black L on cream to a cream e on red and a black t on blue-grey. The final “Live” alternates cream and black letters over green, cream, blue and cream, keeping the lower row as unsettled as the paper perimeter.
