"Low Stakes" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

The largest movement is the loose arch of “Low,” embroidered in solid blue before the wider, straight-set “Stakes” beneath it. On this Classic Dad Hat, the lettering has a deliberately built, cut-apart construction: the L leans left with a thick angular body, while the O stays broad and round around its white oval opening. Three pointed sections make up the W, with slim diagonal white gaps keeping them apart. A clean field of white space separates the two words, so the upper curve does not collapse into the dense lower line.

“Stakes” runs much farther across in tightly packed blue letters. Both S forms have rounded outer lobes broken by diagonal white cuts, a detail echoed in the thin white break between the T’s broad bar and rectangular stem. The A is a sharp triangle with a circular opening and a small rectangular notch at its base. Detached triangular arms give the K its split construction, while the E finishes in heavy squared bars. The words read “Low Stakes,” a plain English phrase presented here through compact, geometric letterforms.
