Description
Flat mid-gray space gives the lettering its breathing room on this Premium Wooden Framed Poster. Mercy is built in heavy serif slabs, near-black purple within each letter, with slim white edging and a violet shadow slipping down and to the right.
In, The, Margins appears in small serif capitals threaded through the larger word, while four-pointed sparkles interrupt the open ground near the corners and letterforms. The small words follow the gaps in the main letterforms, not a straight baseline. Their sparse placement leaves the typography legible without turning the field into a pattern.
Beneath it, three bearded iris blooms and a closed bud emerge in engraved black-and-white linework. Ruffled petals carry dense cross-hatching, and the long, ribbon-like leaves rise from a cracked gray stone step whose broken edge is dotted with small pebbles. The blooms are distinct: three open faces, one still held tight.
Seoul is kept small in the lower left. At the opposite corner, a barcode-like mark accompanies Study 01 inside a bracketed box, giving the botanical engraving a measured publication-note finish. This detail anchors the lower edge without competing with the flowers.
