"Ça Dépend" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

Two oversized lines build the artwork from a compact purple Ça into a much wider bright yellow dépend. The French wording means “it depends,” a brief conditional phrase given a notably physical treatment here: the capital Ç leans left while the lowercase a pulls in the other direction. On the Classic Dad Hat, the embroidered lettering keeps those opposing angles and the tight spacing intact without adding any extra illustration around the words.

The lower line carries most of the visual weight, formed in extremely heavy rounded slab-serif letters with broad feet on the d, p, and n. Small white counters remain visible inside the dense yellow strokes, preventing the word from becoming a single block. The compact purple pair leaves open space to either side before the longer yellow word takes over, while the detached acute accent gives the first e its own small, separate mark.
