Description
On the surface, the Obangsaek Patchwork framed poster displays an organized grid of rectangles and squares, but each segment reveals more with every pattern change. Mottled cream, muted orange and navy blue give the artwork a quiet contrast. Patterns rotate between three distinct motifs: a circular flower with a dotted center crops boldly into two segments, while stylized arches move in scalloped rows that alternate between navy and cream. A geometric motif of square-in-square lines is rendered in a navy blue that interacts with the cream background, channeling the feel of window frames.
