Design story & product details
A curling wave crowns the tall underwater composition in pale cyan and muted blue, its hollow built with darker stippling and its upper edge broken by scattered foam flecks. Below it, condensed lettering reads “Below the Chop” in white with thin doubled blue outlines, while water streaks pass through the letter interiors. Ocean Depth Study on the Men’s Oversized Heavyweight Crewneck T-Shirt keeps the wave and typography as one continuous descent into the water.
Several right-facing fish move through the lower field, led by a large fish that rises diagonally from a broad tail near the lower centre toward a round-eyed head at the right. Fine scale rows, gill curves, fins and dotted shadows give the fish their detail. Seaweed and irregular rocks gather at lower left, with bubbles scattered through the gaps. The comparatively open right margin carries a slim depth scale beside a circular swirling-arrow symbol.
- The depth markings run from 0m through 30m.
- Small spaced lettering at bottom right reads “Busan” and “Water Study,” divided by a horizontal rule.
- The wave hollow uses a denser stippled texture than the surrounding water.
