Design story & product details

The lettering is tall, heavy and cracked like old gym paint, with Pause and Lift blown up in brick red so they hit first. The Pause Is Part of the Lift sums up the paused bench press in one line: hold the bar at your chest, then drive. Below the words, a lifter does exactly that on this tee, drawn from down by his feet.

The detail that sells it is the worn sneaker sole crowding the front. It suits the gym buddy who never skips bench day.
