It's the paused bench press turned into a gym motto, and the oversized sneaker up front gives it some grit.

“Paused Bench Press Lifter” — Unisex Jersey Tank

Regular unisex sleeveless fit; sizes M to 3XL. Cotton jersey; fibre content can vary by colour.

Design story & product details

The words The Pause Is Part of the Lift run across the top in heavy, cracked block capitals, with pause and lift in brick red. Below them, a lifter lies flat on a bench and holds a loaded bar just over his chest. The view comes from down by his feet, so one worn sneaker sole looms huge in front. The design turns the paused bench press into a motto.

On this jersey tank, the artwork suits the gym partner who counts out every pause, and it makes a good birthday gift.
