Design story & product details
Heavy burgundy serif lettering gives Pew Regular Crown its first read: “PEW” drawn in a compact upper line, with “REGULAR” extending far wider beneath it. Both words rise gently at their middles, so the baseline is not flat. On the Classic Dad Hat, that upward sweep gives the embroidered wording a measured arch while the close-set letters retain narrow white separations.
A small ochre-gold crown completes the arrangement beneath the words, held apart by an open strip of white. Its central point is taller and leaf-shaped, while two shorter points work out to curled lobes on either side. The crown has white cutouts through it, including a tiny diamond near the lower middle; its rounded gold base is a separate horizontal bar.
The mark is built from filled colour and open space, with no outline or shadow breaking the dark burgundy letters. Broad stems and pointed, flared terminals give the serifs their weight, especially where the P and R preserve larger interior openings. Embroidery carries the crown’s small cutouts and the lettering’s packed rhythm clearly.
