Design story & product details
Heavy RETRO lettering is built in oversized uppercase forms, crowded together with cream and black outlines, red, yellow and teal fills, and striped shadows that shift each letter away from its edge. The word remains readable through the overlap, while the surrounding objects press into nearly every gap. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, that dense arrangement gives the lettering a central role without isolating it from the rest of the artwork.
- A black camera with cream trim and a teal lens crosses orange rotary telephone forms near the top, joining photography and call-time imagery in one cluster.
- The tilted teal square contains a black record with fine circular grooves and an orange centre; below it, a black cassette carries a cream label marked by orange stripes.
- Coral-framed sunglasses cross a black typewriter with round cream keys, while an orange, yellow and cream van carries long boards at the lower right beside bordered scenes of palms, water, mountains and conifers.
Lightning bolts, a star, paint-like patches and distressed speckles complete the remaining spaces. The small landscape pictures are not treated as a single background: each appears as its own bordered image within the tightly layered collage.
