Design story & product details
Open white space around the top lettering leaves room for the black brush strokes to break at their white distressed gaps. The Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt carries an upward koi-and-wave composition, while pointed stroke ends and uneven edges keep the words from forming a clean type line. “Rise Above” is the artwork’s only lettering.
- Two large olive-grey fish curve upward with their heads turned inward; the left fish reaches higher than the right. Black contours pick out round eyes, dangling whiskers, and overlapping scalloped scales.
- Broad fins are filled with fine radiating lines, while cream highlights run along the bellies and tails. A muted red disc appears behind the fish, joined by pale spiral clouds outlined in grey.
- Densely layered dark blue-grey waves crowd the lower composition in rounded bands. Off-white foam curls over their crests, and thin pale lines follow the sweeping water.
White chips and scratches interrupt the fish, disc, and waves, linking the separate forms through the same worn treatment. The title remains the image’s only wording.
