Design story & product details
Pale turquoise meets dark brown-black in Sail Beyond The Skies, where a whale extends across the lower section with its head facing left and forked tail rising at the right. On this Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, five hot-air balloons gather through the upper portion, their fine descending lines reaching attachment points along the whale. The largest envelope holds the upper centre, while “Sail Beyond the Skies” winds through the same crowded air.
One smaller balloon is partly hidden at the right of the central envelope, a quiet overlap within a composition that still leaves open gaps between its thin connecting lines. Two long flippers angle downward from the whale, and pale turquoise “Beyond” crosses the central balloon with a dark edge. The surrounding words remain dark, shaped by looping capitals and extended flourishes.
Dark outlines define the whale with dense stippling and curved parallel throat grooves. Each balloon envelope is worked with ribbing, scalloped bands, netlike detail, and a tiny suspended basket. The contrast between the pale whale and the dark drawing gives the lettering and balloon rigging a shared line quality without flattening the separate forms.
