Design story & product details
Yellow and orange carry the first read, edged in pale cream and held by black outlines that give the lettering a weighty, poster-like edge. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, Sunshine Starts Morning builds its image around the words “SUNSHINE STARTS IN THE MORNING,” with the large upper word formed in tall curled serifs and the remaining line carried on a black curved banner.
- The round sun uses narrow orange and black horizontal lines across its lower half, a small treatment that gives the yellow disc a banded surface.
- Long pointed rays switch back and forth with shorter flame-like waves; cream clouds cross the lower rim with black curves that resemble engraved marks.
- Dark green branches climb both sides, with yellow-streaked, finely veined leaves; gold dots, four-point stars, and green-and-gold curls fill the breaks.
Its dense arrangement does not close into a solid field: irregular white openings remain between the rays, foliage, and clouds. The banner’s cream lettering follows its curve while the end flourishes echo the serif curls overhead.
