Design story & product details
Narrow empty gaps hold apart the teal and muted-gold ribbons rising behind the figure, leaving the drawing room to breathe around their curves. The Listening Hour is rendered on the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt as a woman at rest, her eyes closed as one cheek leans into her hand and her other arm reaches across a rectangular radio. Loose strands loop freely beyond the crown of her hair.
The visible ear carries a small gold hoop, an easily missed note against the dark teal hair. The radio’s cream face divides into a tightly barred speaker grille at left and, on the other side, a long outlined tuning window with two gold-centred circular knobs. Its dark side panel and slim arched handle give the rounded rectangular form a clear outline.
Fine cream and ochre curved highlights thread through the hair, while nearly black folds cut through the deep teal of the collared shirt. Grainy cream marks catch across the collar in the same restrained palette. Behind the shoulders, the ribbons alternate teal and muted gold, each turn held apart by a sliver of empty ground.
