Description
Heavy gothic strokes sweep the upper two-thirds of the unisex jersey tank, with blackletter text reading “The night” in a cream hue, edged in black for definition. The oversized, ornamental ‘T’ at the start catches attention through its mustard-gold gradient and an elaborate swirl curling from its base. Letterform flourishes include diamond-shaped dots suspended over ‘i’s and scattered as separators among the careful verticals.
Directly below, matching smaller blackletter reads “shineth as the day:” before a slim horizontal gold line and jewel-shaped gold mark form a break. Centered beneath, “PSALM 139:12” in spaced gold small-caps closes the composition, leaving notable negative space circling both top and bottom. The non-English reference, Psalm 139:12, denotes a biblical verse but is here rendered entirely in English.
