Design story & product details
Black fields and white cuts give the rose its sharp, graphic structure. A broad bloom fills the upper portion of the artwork, with tightly overlapped petals folding inward to a small spiral centre. Dense black petal folds alternate with white faces, while fine, short hatch marks catch their edges without softening the outline. Pointed sepals open beneath the flower and lead into a long stem that narrows as it descends. The crewneck T-shirt carries the rose as the clear subject, with open white space around the lower stem.
- Seven serrated leaves divide across the stem, with the left branch spreading wider than the closer right-hand cluster.
- Slender pale central veins and white streaks cut through the heavy black fill of each leaf.
- Thin slanted cursive runs vertically beside the right branches, changing from fine strokes to large looping flourishes.
The lettering reads Homme Seoul: homme is French for man, while Seoul is the name of the city. Its loose vertical rhythm follows the stem without crowding the flower, leaving the bloom’s compact spiral and layered petal work to hold the densest detail.
