"Unofficial Expert" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

Heavy varsity lettering gives Unofficial Expert its whole image: two stacked words, with Unofficial drawn into a broad arch and Expert held to a level line beneath it. On the Classic Dad Hat, the green upper word and orange-red lower word are contained by thick black edging, so the two-part phrase reads as one compact embroidered mark. The upper letters rise through the middle before pitching downward at each end, a deliberate curve that keeps the word from feeling mechanically set.

Expert carries more visual weight, not only through its orange-red fill but through letters that are larger and notably wider. Its slab serifs project in squared blocks, while selected corners are clipped or angled. The spacing is close within each line, yet the thin white interval between the words shifts slightly from letter to letter. White cutouts remain clear inside enclosed characters and between their strokes, preventing the dense outlined forms from closing into a solid mass.

The mark is made through embroidery, using broad filled letter areas bounded by a continuous black outline. That outline traces each serif and angled edge, keeping the two colours distinct while the narrow gap between rows remains visible. There are no mascots, shields or extra accents to extend the design; its identity is carried entirely by the words and their contrast.
