Design story & product details
Coral-red “TRAVEL” dominates the artwork, drawn in oversized italic letters with dense black edging and dark horizontal striping cutting through its lower halves. Yellow, black-outlined “WHO NEEDS” follows the same slanted direction, while white breaks around the uneven perimeter leave the illustration without a filled field.
Cream clouds, shaded pale blue-green, press behind the type and the front-facing steam engine at the right. Its black body carries cream edge marks, orange piping and round rivets; a small cream clock appears high on the front, above the orange-red slatted cowcatcher.
At left, a long-haired figure reaches one arm toward the locomotive beneath a broad cream-and-brown hat trimmed in red. Her close-fitting floor-length dress falls in pleats patterned with yellow flowers, making the rail scene especially distinct on the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt.
Three compressed yellow lines along the bottom begin with “87” and describe commuters crossing a station’s tunnels, platforms and walkways as trains maintain clockwork precision. A yellow-outlined atom and globe complete the lower-right area, extending the travel imagery beyond the engine.
