Design story & product details
Flow With The Waves begins with lettering that refuses an even baseline. Cream capitals stretch, lean and narrow into pointed corners, each held by a thick black contour and a deep offset shadow. The strokes change height sharply from one word to the next. “Flow” commands the left side, while “With” rises on the right before “The Waves” carries the lower line.
Dark blue curves thread through the black wave shapes behind and between the words, so the lines appear to turn through the letter gaps. Their dark edges remain visible between the cream strokes. Along the upper right and lower border, cream foam folds into hooks, loops and rounded droplets.
Four pointed starbursts, each cream with a black outline, break the edge at the left, lower left, top centre and right. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, the dense artwork keeps most of its white space beyond its irregular outer silhouette.
Small black scuffs and speckles cut into the cream fill, most noticeably near the lower letter edges. Those interruptions keep the solid areas from reading as flat blocks and echo the rough movement of the waves.
