Description
The rough, uneven edge on the left of the orange ‘CROSS’ grabs attention before the shape of the word orients you toward the rest of the compressed letterforms. Textures and gradients fight for space in the central stack, while narrow purple type at the edges and star bursts press outward, suggesting movement in multiple directions. The thick drop-shadow under the main lettering exaggerates the visual weight, especially as the slanting letters crowd together and push slightly off register.
The small curved header spells out ‘Jeju Wind Study’—a reference specific to the wind patterns around Jeju Island. Below, phrases like ‘AIR FROM THE SIDE’ and ‘LINES OFF CENTER’ are separated left and right with double rule underlines and a central star, keeping the composition heavy in the middle yet balanced at the margins.
