"Le Large" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

Empty white space gives the lettering room to arc without crowding the lower mark. Le large is French, commonly used for the open sea or a position offshore, and here its black letters climb in a broad rise before dropping at both ends. Thick strokes carry the word, while slender curved joins and pointed serifs pull it away from a blunt display face. The L tips left; at the other end, the final e leans right. In the g, two enclosed white spaces remain clearly separated, with a small spur projecting from its upper right.

On the Classic Dad Hat, the words leave a generous interval before the brown sign beneath them. A thin ochre-brown rule extends horizontally with rounded ends, interrupted near the middle by narrow white gaps. From that break, a tall pointed wedge rises: its left side slopes cleanly upward, while the right edge draws inward in a concave sweep. That asymmetry gives the lower device a distinct direction without adding another word or outline.
