Design story & product details
White gaps give the crowded illustration room to breathe, especially around the cat’s outer edge and between the bursts around the words. A long-haired cat takes the right side with pointed ears, jagged fur, rounded paws and a bushy tail curling left beneath the lettering. Purple and blue fur is broken up by hot-pink, cyan, yellow and lime streaks, while the cream muzzle, chest and toes carry a soft pink shade. Half-lidded green eyes, curved dark brows and a small pink nose give the face its unimpressed expression.
“SAME ENERGY DIFFERENT DAY” is rendered in heavy slanted brush letters with ragged ends, dark interiors and pink-and-cyan offset edges. A yellow outlined crown, multicoloured five-point stars, angular lightning bolts, dots and paint-like splashes press around the type without closing up the white space. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the cat’s long whiskers reach toward the lettering, linking the character and the phrase without obscuring either.
- The curled tail runs beneath the left-side wording.
- Pale cream toes are individually marked with pink shading.
- Two angular lightning bolts punctuate the surrounding bursts.
